It's like he couldn't be more wrong if he tried. If Kapanen's the key to any deal, you, me, my my and her dog knows the deal will go through. Ek could've picked 10 other Leafs and it would've been more believable.

I've heard it was a D man whose played an average of 23.49 minutes/game over the last 3-7 seasons with his respective teams and is able to slot in on the PP and PK effectively as needed with above average shot suppression and puck possession. Not younger or faster than most of his peers, but just old enough to become a quiet, reliable leader in the room. Can comfortably play in the top 3 defensive lines; but best suited in the 3-5 D role.
