Hopefully Chris Gibson signs. Would hate to have to find another career minor league goalie. They're hard to come by...

Hopefully Gibson signs and Garth puts him on the Islanders roster. 3 goalie system is his specialty

The only way Gibson is on the roster if Halak or Greiss get hurt.

Hopefully, he won't have to play more than one or two games. We have at least one, if not two good ones coming over the next couple of years.

Yeah two appear to be legit. But if we are grading Garth on his goalie drafting most have been career back ups.....which is fitting being that he was a back up goalie.

Really? I guess it was a long time ago, but, seems like last year there was a goalie that was on the roster that most of us thought wouldn't be on the roster.

Three goalies didn't work out well for Snow so he's going to give four a shot this season.

I'm glad things worked out for Hammer and both CGY and the Isles. That trade is one of those rare ones that everyone involved basically got what they wanted and it should work out for.

well we did have deal for JVR and JVR didnt waive no trade clause.
Im fine with the move on of Hamonic. but with the 4MM freed up now i would love to see him complete a Duchene or Galychenuk trade.

I'd rather have the return the Isles got from Calgary than JVR and a 1st, especially after getting Eberle. JVR is only under contract for one more season and likely would have walked at the end of the deal anyway, when the Isles couldn't offer him huge dollars to re-sign with all of the other money they need to spend to keep everyone else.
