I'd be OK with this. It's not ideal but, unlike Kev, I don't see how the Habs can afford to lose Radulov with no one capable of replacing him.

Consider that with the addition of Drouin, the Habs wingers already include Drouin, Galchenyuk, Lehkonen and Gallagher.

And you did not mention Pacioretty, Byron, and Shaw.

I know some of them could play as centers, but if not, there is a problem there. Something has to give. +, they still need help on defense.

that should be the right comparable IMO, add 250K a season to offset the taxes in Quebec and you are a 5x6M

Well, the point was not to get worse, at the very least. There is something called the salary cap and the rumor is Radulov wants too much. Every team has to make some choices in the NHL.
