Oshie just got 46 million. Wow.

The 46 mil isn't as big a deal as the 8 years. That's a long time to be tied into one player, even as good as Oshie is.

I sure hope Philly trades for MAF with the number 2 overall pick giving the Rangers the room to move up to number 3!!!

Fluery is not worth it. I will be angry if Hextall thinks MAF and his huge salary is the answer to their goaltending problems.

I suspect it will be for more than just MAF if a trade is made. He is just a bridge between now and either Hart or Stolarz. I have no problem with him coming in here and starting until the reins are taken.

Oshie - Vegas will give me 8

Doubt they were promised, but I'm sure they will get them. Guess there's not much chance of avoiding another stoppage at the end of the CBA.

How often does a GM actually sign a UFA to reasonable $ and term for the actual value of the player?

Sounds crazy that Philly would want MAF that much but not deal with Pittsburgh before expansion. And wouldn't Las Vegas have taken another good goalie if they thought they might deal Fluery? He's staying with the Knights.

Psh the Ducks weren't the best team out west, all you had to do was read the boards around here to know that they got outclasses in both of the first two rounds. Remember it was just the refs that got them into the 3rd round.
