I thought they did a pretty good job with the awards show. It was a little sloppy at times but big improvement over years past

I like that almost all our west coast games are early in the season
Sabres legs will be more fresh than if the west coast trip was later on

Absolutely

But it was still lame with D list celebs - the very end when dude was holding the Cup? Awkward - then Dionne commenting on the chicks legs, the one older fella struggled to read the monitor from what seems like 1000 yards away - the PK Breath Mint thing was lame - blimp cam, lame - jokes about Auston Matthews (they panned to him - he thought joke was, well you guessed it - lame)

At least Def Lepard wasn't there to embarass them again - again back in 2008 Def Lepard was the only band they could get? Then Elliot hoists Cup upside down? Lamest of the lame
