I still would've taken Dumba over the deal he got, so I think he made out pretty well |

The wild get the conditional third round pick not Vegas. |

Honestly I think this was about the best-case scenario for the Wild. Fletcher did well with the cards he was dealt. |

Yep, think Fletcher did as well as could be expected in regards to the expansion draft. |

As Russo pointed out this morning on KFAN, Foley and McPhee could have certainly done much better throughout the entire expansion draft... they drafted to ice a "competitive" team.
A team that will win their fair share of games, but will most likely finish in the bottom 10 teams for their first couple of seasons in order to acquire lottery picks to build for the future...
Therefore it's most likely less about Chucks savvy in a tough spot and more likely that his as well as most teams unprotected top players were safe to begin with because Vegas wants a better shot at the next Crosby/McDavid type player. |

Do you guys know roughly when pre-season game tickets go on sale? Or if the pre-season games don't sell out so I could just buy them at the gate the day of the game? Making a trip to Minny for a Vikes game and wouldn't mind catching the Wilds pre-season game the day before. |

Also McPhee was very concerned with building good relationships as he will need to make many trades over the next few years. |
