I would deal Stepan in a Brassard type trade before his NTC kicks in July 1st.

If he is still here I will hope for him to succeed. Odds of him having another bad playoff is slim.

Nah, I know it's a pipe dream idea but it would be cool. He's in Edmonton for a long time with McDavid to win a bunch of cups. Then when they are both older they can come to the Rangers and take them to the Conference finals like Gretzky did in '97.

This is the only reason I will be upset if he doesn't get moved. It's not just with the Rangers, I just keep watching teams get burned by these NMC/NTC. Especially because we know we wil lgo through this again, the league isn't going to sit tight at 31 teams, I want full flexibility.

If he didn't have that clause kicking in I wouldn't be at all adamant about moving him.

Derek Ryan won 55% of his faceoffs last year, seems like a good fit for our 4th line

What have you felt you were wrong about? I will be one to also state that I had it right while everyone else had it wrong (Richards contract for example, my buddy won't let go of him screaming at the TV for them to take Taresanko when they took McIlrath) but you have to admit your misses too there bud. (Dallas Eakins over AV for me, my buddy also loved Filitov, Yakupov, and every other -ov in the draft).
