There are many reports in Columbus that they may buy out Scott Hartnell, which is the reason they didn't ask him to waive the NTC. Then all of a sudden Josh Anderson is on the protected list and all is well, unless one does not have a high opinion of him.

There are also reports that have been around for a while saying that Murray should be on the exposed list and not Jack Johnson. Since Savard and Johnson were such a good #2 pair last year and Murray has fallen down the team's depth chart due to injury, it makes sense with all the young talent possibly on board next year.

Will any of this happen? Who knows, but if the CBJ is looking for big-time scoring additions up front and signing some RFA's something like buying out Hartnell/trading Clarkson's contract with a side deal to have LV take a specific player may have to happen. If they are looking for cap space to sign people, then maybe Johnson is they guy they want to see leave, but it is hard to see why LV would take him.

the Jets need a LD and I think a Murray for Raslovic makes a lot of sense. I like Raslovic but we need more D depth than forwards and he is from Columbus. i think it works for both teams
