More like an astroturf jackass town. Not sure what the media and hockey world obsession with these idiots is. They steal their "traditions" from other fanbases, they artificially inflate the crowd noise, and they don't even know the rules of hockey!

Then, after they've been defeated, they act like total buffoons. Booing Gary Bettman is one thing (and everyone does that), but throwing crap at the players and onto the ice after the clinching goal? And then booing during the entire Cup celebration and chanting "Crosby sucks"?? First, what a dumb thing to say. Second, show some respect, if not for Crosby himself but for your opponent and for the Cup tradition and the game of hockey. It isn't all about you hicks and how cool you think you are.

But hey to be a true hockey town don't you need to have a riot or two after being ripped off by the NHL over favored cities like Pittsburgh, NY & Boston, right?

Milbury was so pro-penguins in his broadcasting it was disgusting. Good to see Nashville toast him for not doing his job correctly. Media is meant to give an impartial look into the game and NBC's broadcasting group fail to do this whenever the penguins are involved. Doc Emrick is still the man, NBC's saving grace no doubt.

Lots of fans and fan bases have thrown lots of things on the ice and the Preds fans understandably felt screwed. And Milbury is pretty dis likable. That said, it would be classier to show some respect for the Stanley Cup being presented.

As for Crosby, maybe throw some tampax on the ice for him.

It's hard enough playing against the Penguins. But Gary made sure that the Preds were not going to win.

Another fun Milbury moment was when Charles Barkley was interviewed during Game 2 (or 3?) and started talking about how great the 30 for 30 was that was done on George Spanos and the Islanders. You could see how uncomfortable Milbury was and it was funny to see how fast he tried changing the subject to Jeremy Roenick and catfish. I have never understood how anyone could have hired Milbury as a coach, GM or analyst - he never impressed me in any of those roles.

Just my opinion... but I found the 'You Suck' and 'All Your Fault' chants to be childish and I felt like they showed a lack of respect for the sport and for the athletes.

Many Preds fan acted like they've never been to the finals before. I got the sense many of them were more interested in partying and hollering than participating in a hockey match.

Flyers fan here, not exactly a Crosby fan... but it's been a long time since I've heard Crosby be whiny, and after watching many of his interviews the last few years I'd say he comes off as humble, straightforward and honest.
