Horny in, I think JG sits...as sad as that sounds. I think Sully likes Hags way too much. I know Rowns has been good, but if everyone is healthy, I don't know how you dress him over Hags or JG.

I've been rooting for you guys for three rounds pretty much. (frank) the Jackets. Don't care for Holtby for some dumb reason. And beating the Atlantic teams that aren't the Wings is always good. But gotta root for my adopted hometown boys this series. Good luck Pens and Pens fans.

I believe Rutherford made those comments to clearly let the NHL know that their "change of rules" in the playoffs is laughable and oblivious. The NHL office should just come out and say they use a different rule book in the playoffs. Longer term fans, newer fans are all left confused as puck figuring out these two different products they see.

It is easy to neutralize a player in the playoffs....that is why winning in the playoffs is never about luck, its about determination who will fight through it all....and that is why this team is really special to watch.

JR is just blowing smoke and calling out the league on not calling its own rules.

Rowney has been very good but Id play both Hagelin and Guentz over him.

Excited for the big game tonight. Like last series, wouldn't be surprised to see the Pens come out a bit flat, hoping Im wrong.

Hope they don't come out too flat... Winner of game 1 has won 77.9% of Stanley's Cup Finals...

Current jake yes...current hags no...rowney is offering more than the currently(injured?) Hags.

Hags hasn't had the speed he's known for this postseason. Also I thought Rust looked slower than his usual self in game 7. Hopefully the rest helps. I'm also hoping that 7 day break kills Pekka's hot streak. Lots of time to think about the upcoming games, and the offense he's facing.

It looks like Hags is out tonight. Reported that he skated for over 30 minutes this morning, seems a bit much for someone who will play tonight. I thought Hags was just starting to play well again after the injury.

Rinne will make or break this series. He plays like Anderson and the Pens could be in trouble. Pens get to him early and everyone will throw him under the bus like the did to Bobrovsky and Holtby.... and Rinne knows this.

They both do look a bit slower, but I thought both were still effective enough. One of the strengths Sullivan has shown has been putting the right guys in the right situations so I'd trust whatever decision he makes.

I never hear his name get mentioned, but I think bringing on Andy O'Brien (Sid's long time strength coach) last year has been a big impact. I am sure they closely monitor nervous system fatigue and that probably plays into some of these decisions also.

Time off helps us a lot. Not too much time either. Ultimately this first game will go a long way in showing us how these teams match up. I feel the media is giving a lot of love to Nashville as they should. But rinne historically isn't a great tender against sid and the boys. Also for all the lauding that Nashville's far superior offensive defence gets...the pens are only 5 points shy of them in scoring. The intangibles play a large role again. I like our chances esp with their 1c out for the year and even more esp because they haven't played long without him. We have endured without tanger for a while....one would think we can withstand four more wins. A lot realistically points to the pens winning. But same was said for Washington in round 2. Back to back would be absolutely incredible...go pens!

I Had a buddy go down to watch the Pens there a while ago, the 5-1 poop kicking I think. said it was one of the best hockey experiences he's had. Even though the game wasn't really close.

I think the experience of last year will come into play right off the hop. I think the Pens go hard and strong in game one and (hopefully) catch the Preds off guard, so to speak

Excited for another run at Lord Stanley's Cup!
