I really hope they don't alter them too much. Nothing against any of the other franchises, but it would be a shame for any of the original 6 team jerseys to deviate from original logo/design/colors.

Why does it seem like the less successful a franchise is, the more often they make changes to their jerseys? Not just in hockey, but in most sports.

Agree totally, all original 6 are fantastic. Tweaks are fine but the Boston jersey is excellent.

Having said that I guarantee the Blackhawks time is coming to end. Even as quickly as the next ten years. The logo and likely even the name will have to go. Maybe just the logo would be enough.

I swear they lost every friggin time they wore those jerseys. I remember many games as a kid going to see them play, and as soon as i saw them skate out wearing those abominations i knew i was about to see a loss.

wouldn't think they'd mess with the classic B and Bars. they'll probably just mess with the stripes and whatnot on the rest of the jersey.

Too much branding for me, but I bet that would work perfect in the KHL.

They won't change the logo... it'll be like other people have mentioned where it will be just a mix up of the stripes/color blocking/patches. I wouldn't mind a new shoulder patch/alt logo. The current one isn't bad, but I wouldn't mind seeing it get updated.

I think Adidas said they're doing away with alternate sweaters. It will be strictly home and away. Not sure how I feel about the rumored gold road sweaters?

Yeah, I think they've announced there aren't going to be any alternate 3rd jerseys next year. I'm just talking about updating the patch on the sleeve of their standard jerseys (which typically ends up getting used as the main logo on the alternate jerseys).

I'm not that into the gold jerseys idea... Providence already does that and I don't really care for them personally. I like the gold jersey as the 3rd jersey to mix things up, but I don't think I'd want to see it in constant rotation.
