Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Memorial Cup focus on Chatfield & coach Rocky Thompson The Windsor Spitfires go up against the OHL champion Erie Otters in Wednesday's final game of the Memorial Cup, where Canucks fans will focus on free-agent signee Jalen Chatfield on Windsor's defense and coach Rocky Thomson behind the bench.

Thank you Carol!

I would qualify Valk and Labate. Archibald had a decent AHL season, especially for a player of his skill-set, and would be a great mentor next season for the new kids coming in.

Chatfield is super fun to watch. I think him and McEwen are two super interesting prospects to watch moving forward

Who woulda thought that Carey Price's sister would be closer to the Stanley Cup than Carey himself?

According to folklore and outside fan bases Vancouver had a pair of sisters close to the cup.

I was listening to the radio yesterday when they were talking about Nashville protecting 4 Dmen this Summer which would mean they can only protect 4 forwards.

I was not aware of that rule until yesterday . The reason I bring it up is Brodin may be on the trade block. As long as Bo is protected I don't care which forward we lose . Boeser and Goldoblin are protected so that is all that matters to me.

on somewhat of a good note regarding our prospects. Jake Virtanen, despite playing 3rd line minutes in the AHL, Virtanen generates shots at a 1st line rate. (as per Ryan Biech) #smallvictories

Big problems in the KHL today. One team is gone , while another left on it's own and players are 6 months behind on getting paid.

Maybe Tryamkin will be back sooner than later.

Sucks seeing him cork-screwed by Ian Cole. He has been good for the sens this year.

Lot of $ for 5 assists. That signing is going to hurt them big time not to mention the trade

meh. $ and term doesn't hurt as much when you are 1 game away from the Stanley cup finals. $ and term sucks when you are paying 2 players 7 million dollars each and are a bottom 3 team.

What does our situation have to do with the Sens? They are apparently a contender and they are wasting cap space on Burrows. Not to mention they traded their 2nd best prospect to acquire him
