That't not exactly fair. Bernier didn't lose them the game. The Duck's failed him with break downs. I mean hell. Preds scored on a 2 on 5. 5 Ducks couldn't stop Sissions one timer. 3 of the goals weren't Bernier's fault.

Bernier is not the goalie the Flyers need, but he's the goalie certain Flyers fans deserve.

Bernier is a siv. He holds the record for most goals allowed in a season before the singing of the anthem is finished. Would be surprised if any team in the NHL gives him a job even as a backup. Makes saves only after a game is lost. The first shot softie last night was unforgivable. Goes against everything you want from a goalie, most importantly giving your team a chance to win. He stinks.

Benning will sign Bernier to split starts with Markstrom next year and Miller will sign with the Ducks.

It will be a long season in Vancouver.

I agree that Vancouver might sign him. If they need a few losses at the end of the season to improve their lottery chances, they could play Bernier every game. Ducks need a goalie for sure. Not sure I would give Benning that much intellectual credit that he would get a goalie for the purpose of tanking.

once you put it that way... doesnt it become amazing that there are so many people willing to be in the same building at the same time with him?

Neither Bernier, nor Reimer, are the solution for any team's goaltending needs.

Watching this series has shown me something I never thought I would see.

Maata might be worse than Marincin

I know it's only Ottawa but Pitt winning with this defence is pretty remarkable.

I'm totally pulling for a Nashville/Ottawa finals.. Bettman's worst nightmare. Of course, there's also that nagging little detail about how much I hate the Pens.

Bernier never was, or will be a #1

Too small and soft between the ears.

Next stop KHL

I can't see Chevy making that move. Bernier is no improvement over Helly and possibly a slight improvement over Hutch.

I will give you that he was decent in LA but his decline has been seen league wide.

Like I said, just IMO

Dubas leaving would be really unfortunate.
