Need a good start from the Ducks tonight.

They have only scored the first goal twice in this series and I think it would be nice not to play from behind so early.

Hopefully Gibson bounces back and helps us break this terrible Game 7 streak .

Let's go Ducks!!

I'm still stunned the referees let game 6 get so out of hand for the Oilers. The 2 days rest will really help them re-focus and I'm confident they'll be back to doing everything they can to defeat the Oilers. Go REFS!

I understand that in the event of a Duck(*) loss, the NHL will immediately move to make this series a best of 9.

The Ducks aren't as bad as they were in game 6 nor are the Oilers as good. It should be another close game.

Agreed. The most worrying point for me is just in regards to Gibson. I know he has played great in stretches but overall to me, he has looked a little shaky in this series. Just hoping for him to put up a solid enough performance to give the Ducks a chance

I wonder how you can say that? The game 6 shellacking was following the most egregious war room decisions in the history of the NHL. We both know this series should be over.

It's been a close series. We are going to see some good hockey. I've been happy with the play of theodore and montour. They have been steady. I was was hoping to see more out of ritchie, kase, and vermette But they have time to make a mark. Hope they just give it there all. Don't overthink it. Do what you always do. If that happens then i think we win. If we tighten up then Edmonton has got the advantage. #Letsgoducks

Nothing went right last game, but why? Was it the weak first goal that started the downfall, or was it going to be that bad regardless of the start? Everyone looked terrible, and of course the goaltending made it seem so much worse. I'm still not convinced Gibson can get it done. He makes some spectacular saves, but often those saves look remarkable because he is out of position and has to stretch a skate to stop a puck that should have been in his wheelhouse. I think Bernier is better positionally, but regardless who is in net, the Ducks need to put up lots of shots. Talbot has been impressive but he needs to be peppered and have lots of traffic to give the Ducks a chance.

Also, how short a leash does anyone think Gibson is on tonight? One quick goal, one bad goal?

Let's remember Gibson is all of 23. Problem is a mistake (which young goalies will make) usually results in a goal.

I know every team has to deal with injury issues, but losing Eaves has hurt the most.

With Theodore and Montour, it's been baptism by fire. These games will only make them better going forward.

Win or lose, have to love playoff hockey.

I had no real issue with the refs in Game 6. Oilers got the calls but it's not like it decided the game. Let's not become like their fanbase, constantly crying every time somebody breathes on McDavid.

If you're pulling him after one goal you might as well not start him.

If he allows 2 in the first 4 minutes like the last game he'll probably get yanked.

This has been a quite a series. Definitely it'd be nice if Anaheim could oust this game seven home ice demon. My biggest concern is even during the 3 game win streak, Draisaitl's had his way time and time again. That can't happen tonight.

I reflect back on game 7 against Chicago when Bruce Boudreau bit on taking Getzlaf off the ice when Q quickly put Toews on the ice after the puck drop to start the game (it was something like that). That level of obsession with match ups is folly, and doesn't invoke confidence on the bench. Randy Carlyle's best attribute has been his calming force mindset, and it started right from his first press conference when he got hired. At today's presser he talked about the importance of a strong start. We'll see what happens.

Despite the boss' opinion, the winner of this series has to be the favorite to win the WCF.

tight, entertaining series regardless of who wins tonight.

Hope the best team, not the officiating, wins this game
