Well said Dan!!!

I am a Blues fan and if Minnesota had beaten us, I would have just wished them well!

Let's all just wish the Predators and their fans luck in the Conference Finals!!

Would there be any solace if the team that eliminated you made it all the way and became champions? I've heard it said, "well nobody was going to beat them" and the like. It might make the losing pill a little less bitter?

This. If Blues went on to sweep the next 3 teams and win the Cup, Wild fans could logically feel they were closest to beating the champs, 2nd best team in the playoffs just eliminated early by chance seeding. Instead, with Blues eliminated in 6 the next round, Wild couldn't do what Nashville could, meaning they are even further down the pecking order than they'd like. If Nashville loses next round, and an Eastern team wins the Cup, that puts Wild at the bottom of all playoff teams using that logic.

Yep. Shows just how bad Wild really are. They couldn't even beat a rebuilding team Nashville eliminated without much problem.

Oh yeah, a Nashville team who held the Blackhawks ( a team far superior to the Blues) to zero wins and what? 4 goals? LOL! Nice try!
