Big win.
Keep it going boys! On to the road where the Blues have been great. |

I was at the game.
Was told NBC appeared less-then-enthused about the series being evened up. Is that true? |

Well, I'm not sure what the Preds did in round 1, I'll watch NBC and they'll tell me at least 3 times a period.....

It did not seem like NBC were less enthused. They pumped up Tarasenko as they should.
I thought the call was correct on Fiddler which shocked me that it was made. I was equally shocked when Subban punched Steen in the back of the head instead of actually checking him.
But hey. Twice the Blues started out bringing the play and twice the bounces went the Preds way. Twice in the game and the series the Blues have come back to tie the game. But, the Blues have to stop the prevent D as much against this team.
Barbs looked great out there.
Perron's performance as was Berglund's was much improved.
Allen made some good saves but looks more shakey and seems to have issues tracking the point shots. I think Allen has at least two more levels he can play at.
Lehtera I was saying this dude better show me more and he goes out right then and has an excellent shift and scores.
I would sit Reaves next game and play MPS in his place. Reaves ability to back check hurts that line's defensive game. Though I would not say Reaves was bad, he's just not as good as say MPS or Jaskin would be in that spot. I would even consider sticking Yakupov in that place. The reason is you need speed on the forecheck and ability to recover on the back check or Nashville will catch you. Yakupov has shown a great ability to back check. This allows you to safely play the fourth line more but might make them less effective bc Yakupov does not hit enough yet.
Speaking of hitting welcome back Sobie!!!! Man he nailed Josi hard. He had some big hits and he created some great chances. Man I have missed that guy.

So Rinne only gives up three goals to a potent offense in four games and in two games gives up the same amount each game.
Also Tarasenko should have had a hatrick. That one play could have been called a goal and I think you see it as such in the regular season. |

Still? They made it out like it wasn't that bad.
Don't look now but Adam Musil a 4th round pick who projected as a bottom six, most likely fourth liner played two regular season games with the Wolves. He leads them in scoring in the play offs with 3g 2a in 5 gp. Interesting as Thompson has 0 points.
Shoot I forgot about Sandford. He might be a good replacement for Reaves. |

I still am hoping for a tv remote that has a "mute Pierre" button. I really want him to get a gm job of a team I don't care about. |

Well, from a preds fan, I must say we can agree to disagree on the fiddler hit... but I think we can all agree the woman behind the blues bench has a nice rack for a 40+yr old |
