It's funny watching these guys like Nash and Staal.. they were so good a few years back and now they are meh.
In a few years it'll be Crosby, Toews, Tavares... it's such a young mans league now and that's how the Leafs are giving the Caps trouble.. Ovi is past his prime, Backstome has always been the better player imo.. but their time is running out. Gotta win early,, before Matthews/Marner turn 25 I want to see a couple cups. |

I have a bad feeling the Caps are gonna win Sunday and end this series.
Then again, before the season started I thought Leafs would finish around 25th, so what do I know?

As for the Kadri hit, I think Kadri might have been a bit too low, but it was not that bad a hit. OV made it worse by trying to avoid it.
I'm still unsure if OV actually faked being hurt in order to draw a penalty or if maybe he was actually pretty sore. I think someone suggested he might have had a charliehorse, which would hurt, but he'd be over it fairly quickly and back to playing... It would maybe explain how he needed help to get off the ice and was back to normal 20 minutes later... |
