Hi Montreal,

I am wondering if a fast, playmaking C who won over 60% of his face-off's might have been helpful this year.

All if would have cost is a 18 yr old D man and a couple of other add's and ends.

Oh Well, there is always next year.

I usually get asked to leave this blog but I keep coming back for more abuse. No one goes on the Jets blog so I got no where to go. I'll try again and get ready for the abuse. Here me out,

I am of the belief that Trouba does not want to stay in Winnipeg. I love Trouba, he is our best D and I dont want to trade him!! cant stress this enough!! But if our hand is forced, it's forced. No offence or insult to Landy or Dutch but I do not want them for Trouba. If you win the lottery and lets say take Patrick to join Jost and Comher as your furute Centers would you entertain a Mac for Trouba and Lemieux deal?

Is there even any truth to Freidman saying Mac is no longer as "untouchable" as he once was?

I'd then like the Jets to draft a D with our 12th pick and trade one of Ehlers/Connor/Raslovik to a team like Philly, Carolina or the Ducks for a young "potential" top 4 D that hopefully will lessen the loss of Trouba.

well its true, you usally are asked to leave bc you say dumb things like Friedman saying MacKinnon is no longer untouchable.

1....that is false , friedman never said it. It was that dork in Edmonton Jim Matheson who said it bc he think the Avs need to be like the Oilers and trade Hall for Larsson to change things around.

As you can notice, not one insider or publication picked up his little rumour bc it was laughed at by all Avs beat writers.

2. MacKinnon is not available so dont be dumb asking Trouba and Lemiuex for him. Even Joe came out and said it himself that Mack, Jost, and Rants are the building blocks of this team

3. Just be better at posting in general. Its not hard to google this and get the correct info

To be fair I was asking about the Friedman thing, if I got it wrong, my bad. Why Google it when I was here and can just ask? My post was more about the trade. Not all that concerned about it. If you don't like the trade that's fine. If you don't like my posts, that is also fine. You have also been wrong. It happens. I am making a concentrated effort to not get as mad when people post stupid crap. Every fan of every team is guilty of this, including yourself and me. If you disagree, no worries. Have a good one

Do you want Av Fans coming into the Jets thread asking hey would you do scheifele for Barrie and AJ Greer?

We dont need constant trade all the Avs best players to the Jets requests from you. Its annoying. Zads, Rantanen, MacKinnon....honestly man just stop it

you would get the benefit of the doubt if you didnt have a season long annoying history of just coming in to try to make trades for the Avs best young talent. The Avs had one of the worst teams in the modern era, do you really think we want to hear will you trade your only good promising talent that will help the Avs be better longe term....but since that is all you do, you will get called out

I actually dont recall posting more than 2 or 3 Avs / Jets trades and that was probably when Trouba was holding out and I was responding to Avs posters asking for him. go ahead and prove me wrong. I absolutely admit to coming in here and disagreeing with you from time to time but I dont come here posting trades all the time. please, if you are going to acuse me, be right, if not, admit it.

Point still stands, avs fan base are not in the mood to be talking trades of their best young players. Its the most tiring thing in the world, Ive personally lost patience in even being nice about it. Duchene is going to be traded. If you want to ask about him, thats a guaranteed.

With how the season ended, comments said by both coach and GM, with how they played. My guess is that the trade list starts with Duchene and if the right deal for EJ/Barrie comes along they might do that...and Landeskog would be the least likely out of the older guys to move

ok, yes, that makes sense! Ultimate Jet posts alot of trades I shake my head at, but in his defense and unlike us, he never gets upset when poeple rip him for it. I've just learned to accept it. He posts at least one Taveras to Winnipeg trade every couple weeks.

I will stop with any future Jet/Avs trades. I think you are right and Duchene will be traded. I suspect the Islanders, Carolina or Philly will end up with Duchene but I'm not exactly the first person to guess those teams. I dont see Montreal having the young D you guys would want.

It stinks, that even with the number 1 pick, they won't be NHL ready and aren't generational players. So you can't even trade down for much.

I agree, I am tired of trade proposals. I play a lot of NHL 17, and seeing as my name has AVS in it, I hear it constantly and now on the boards. I don't get why people don't understand, the Avs are not going to trade their young building blocks for spare parts of your team. your 3rd pairing defenseman is not going to get you Mackinnon

Zads rights are own by CSKA Moscow, which is owned by the Russian Government. The temptation will always be there for him since they will give him the most money and basically a locked in roster spot to play internationally for Russia.

I dont think its a huge threat as long as the Avs do the right thing and give him the long term deal and secuirty he needs.

Zads likes Bednar, from his quotes in that one russian interview. As long as they dont insult him with contract talks, I dont see any issues here.
