I have to agree with your take here. BB, Severson and Blandisi have to stay. I would like Noesen too.
I'd be alright if there is not a single change to the offense through trade or free agency. I'd like to see more of Q, Speers and McLeod. |

Actually some tough calls on this list. I first read the Severson figures and thought "no way" but with the rate for d-men these days that's a decent gamble to take. I'd do that for him.
I know the numbers suggest Bennett is a solid contributor, and at a decent figure I'd say re-sign him, but I don't see the stardom that Todd sees in him.
Blandisi has to stay. His leash was a little shorter this year and he responded well. If nothing else you pay to keep him and figure out what you have. Same with Noesen, 1 yr-deal only.
JJ can't leave soon enough. He can go catch up with Tedenby. |

Adios JJ! Kinkaid is gonna move on to start somewhere or move into a situation where he's in a much more active platoon role. He'd be nice on Dallas to form a tandem with niemi or lehtonen. Time for the Devils to bring up Wedgewood to be the backup. |
