Will be a really good series, i think you'd be safe to say either team has a legitimate chance. still ridiculous that these 2 teams have to play in round 1, but at least we will see some quality hockey in round 1.

CBJ are lacking a top center to combat the penguins down the middle. Dubinsky needs to get into Crosby's head, which isnt easy.

on defense, CBJ clearly has the edge, the penguins are missing a work horse who can play 20+ minutes a night.

should be fun. trying to decide if i want to make the trip next week for a game in columbus.

Trying to quote:

On dubie and Sid: he always played Sid well defensively (with Rangers). Granted it's impossible to keep him off the scoresheet, but he has knack of driving him absolutely bonkers. Should be a key matchup over the length of series

Go BJs!

It isn't easy only recently. SO many times it has happen, wether vs rangers or philly for example. I give Sullivan credit for that

For what Paul brings to the table I don't mind....

that being said , i'm sceptic with how the cbj ended the season , they seemed either gassed or uninterested resulting in a 6 game losing streak . Hopefully the playoffs gets the adrenaline going and they leave everything on the ice.

I think the series is going to come down to if the refs decide to call remotely close to the rule book. If they let the neutral zone interference, cross checks, hacks and after the whistle play go it'll be a huge advantage to CBJ. If they call remotely close to what they're supposed to call, I think CBJ will struggle with the Pens speed. I'm also interested to see if CBJ can turn it on after finishing off the season so poorly.

Blue Jackets, just like their coach, are a bunch of hacks. Instead of hockey they want to slug it out. Why not the league does no enforce the rules. Still a bunch of hacks

pay no attention to holeinone, he's the Pens board village idiot.

Should be a good series. Pitter patter, let's get at 'er.
