Ek, you know I love you, right?

If Toronto and Boston both finish with 95 points, Boston wins the tie-breaker.

But I am confident that next year's playoff predictor will be truly fantastic.

Literally EVERY TIME you posted the projected standings (including today) there were multiple errors and impossible results. And it's not like they were difficult to catch. Kind of like how every post of yours is riddled in spelling / grammar errors. First rule of journalism school: never proof read or edit your work.

You found out yourself that Toronto couldn't be 3rd in Atlantic with 95 points and changed it to 96... Maybe there's some hope for you after all, Ek

OK, so now I'm a little puzzled.

I was led to believe that your predictions were based upon 12 factors, and you pored over these factors and used a mathematical formula to predict the winners of individual games.

So this morning, I was disheartened to learn that you were predicting Columbus to beat Toronto in regulation time.

But after I noticed a small mathematical error in your standings, rather than change the standings, you simply changed the prediction - stating that Columbus would win in overtime.

What happened to the original prediction? Why do you now feel that Columbus will not win in regulation time?

Something smells fishy, Ek.

Nicely done.

While the Boston series had a horrific ending, I do agree that it shouldn't matter that much anymore. For all that sucked, it was important. If that team had squeezed into the second round who knows what would have happened going forward or even if they hadn't made it entirely. Every crappy thing about that lead to the events that resulted in this current group.

A lot had to go right to get this team. And nice to see things moving forward again.

NYI OTW over SENS would give the Sens 99 pts on the year.

Ek, you never fail to show your true colors. The Leafs beat an AHL team (barely) with the help of your so called Hockey Gods.

Did you even waste the time to watch that game?

Poorly officiated and despite that they STILL sweated it out. If that is a desperate Toronto team, the Craps are celebrating that outcome because that is a sweep in the making for their first round.

Best of luck to Your Flyers on their Playoff Tee Times. Hope they don't get stuck behind slow moving groups.

Yes, Kessel and Crosby are AHL players.

And your goon team felt the need to run the goalie. Rot goes from the top to the bottom of that lineup. Hope Crosby gets what's coming to him. Part of me is happy they punished the Pens on the scoreboard, but I wouldn't have minded seeing one of the 4th liners taking off one of Crosby's nuts or fingers.

having got the trolling out of the way:

if Leafs draw Sens instead of Caps they have a decent shot of making 2nd round.

combined with the fact that I think edmonton will beat San Jose, and i'm not that optimistic about calgary vs anaheim, this could be a rougher playoffs for me than id hoped

This is a very well thought out rebuttal. Thank you for sharing.
