Doesnt help that Marchand has gone cold for a couple of games. For a while he was the offense. Depth scoring is going to be big the last few games. No one is going to get to rest.

Noticed Marchand has been still making his little shifty plays on his edges and finding separation but seems to be mishandling the puck when he tries to finish the play. Happened at least 3 times I noticed last night. He will come around.

What's up with Nash all of a sudden? Racking up points, and getting under the opponents skin. Throwing gloves on hay makers with Forsberg and Fiddler starting with him before miller's scrap. Good to see.

He is making himself useful. Meanwhile, in Jimmy Hayes land, he still racks up minutes without explanation.

Let's see if he rises to challenge. They're not in yet. It's perfectly OK for you feel that way as it is for me to question his resolve at this point. Which I do SEVERELY.

In other news, McAvoy might be joining the B's soon. He is expected to sign an ATO in short order here. Might be nice to get him in the fold. The D could use a shot in the arm.

Glad i'm not the only one. Everyone jumps down my throat when i question anything about Rasks game, whether it's his resolve or the gaping hole in his glove hand.

Nothing like a goalie controversy(kinda) to divvy up a fanbase.

He can still sign an ELC after an ATO, He just burns a year off the contract if he plays a game with the big club this year.

EDIT: There are many many examples here that should prompt you to just question it. Not on the trade Rask train, and I'm not saying he sucks because he doesn't But this last "LBI" has me questioning his resolve. I have to imagine there are some if not all in the locker room wondering if this guy is going to nut up or fold...again.

He sucks, but Reilly Smith only has 14 goals this year. It was around this time last year that everyone was questioning if the b's gave up the next gretzky.

Humongous win against a great team and the discussion is still Jimmy Hayes and his 8 minutes of ice time....

I do think the third line should be Spooner Cehlarik and Vatrano. I dont really know why Cehlarik didnt stick. I thought he played well.

Hey, I enjoyed the smith for Hayes trade at the time. Now I have extreme buyer's remorse. I have seen enough of what Hayes has to offer. He is just awful.

Smith might only have 14 goals and be a peripheral player, but I think Florida got the better trade. I would just be a lot happier if Hayes was perma-parked in the press box or sent down to providence.

Anyone but hayes on the third line. He is a hindrance to this team. Every time I see him on the ice I want to punt a kitten.

To your other point....we won a game.....yaaay.....back to work.

Easy there Ty, Risk stepped up big?
I would say Nashville's goal was a softy. Luckily it didn't cost the game or a reason for a late game push by the Preds.
