i'm hoping the lightning can keep on a roll and get healthy sooner than later...

I wish the Nux had traded for Drouin...

How many last chances can this team get?

This homestand is the last one though.. Maybe Stammer gets in on thursday. Maybe we can get 7/8 points. Then we have the season in our own hands, with Bruins and Leafs away.

Incredible comeback by the Lightning. Kind of like the whole season in a single game.

Down terribly, regroup, gradually getting better, catch up and win in overtime. Still need to complete the win in overtime.

Hopefully, Tampa can keep it going.

Will Stamkos play again this season? Will he make a positive difference or will he disturb the team's rhythm? I believe he will help the team if he can make it back.

It would also be interesting to know the real outlook on Johnson and Paquette.

Crazy season but the playoffs are possible!

This game the Bolts showed great heart and a will to compete. The Blackhawks had crazy puck luck with blocked/bouncing pucks landing right on the sticks of their snipers in wide open, grade A scoring chances which lead to 3 of their 4 goals. Being that unfortunate would lead to a team to just giving up and skating out the rest of the game. Bolts had to battle though, not that many games left and battle they did!

Great game. Hope they can keep this momentum and stay consistent.

If the predators win, I'm willing to bet you will be held scoreless on the score sheet.

If stamkos comes back , I believe the Lightning will ride a high wave of emotion and adrenaline into the post season with many wins down this tiny stretch we have left for their captain... it's kind of like when he first goes out for 4-6 months, the lightning play well for multiple games then kind of crash.. Well when he returns I believe they will respond very nicely and play their hearts out for this guy like they have been doing (in most cases) for the past 15-20 games. It really stuck out to me when kucherov was asked about Stamkos skating he replied "he gives me hope that he will be back" it really seems like he and stammer had great chemistry on the ice and off the ice earlier this year, and he stays out with him after practice doing one timers for 30-60 min. I think when we see stamkos return we might see an even better Kucherov, if you think it's possible

Dumont and Gourde have really impressed me, I like those guys a lot. The call-ups haven't been bad but those 2 stick out a lot. Lot's of speed, lot's of pressure, lot's of shots and hits, it's fun to watch and good for them

When we went down 4-1, I turned the game off and started watching Bob's Burgers on Netflix.

A while later, I checked the score online and it was 4-2. I still thought the game was out of reach given that the Hawks had just been walloped in Sunrise.

The next time I checked, I expected to see 5-2 or 6-2 and was pleasantly surprised with seeing 4-4. I put the game back on and caught the overtime period.

Now I feel like an idiot for not watching the entire thing.

Even if we don't make the playoffs, I'd be happy to see Kuch edge out Crosby for the Rocket.

At least the Bolts are making things interesting.

As per SportsClubStats.com, the Lightning's chances of making the playoffs now stand at 32.3%.

For tonight :

Go Nashville!

Go Panthers! (it pains me to say that)

Go Detroit!

Well, Preds failed. Detroit failed. And Florida is minutes away from failing.

Lazy bastards. LOL.

Might be getting ahead of myself, but from todays skate it looks like Stamkos is coming back tomorrow, but maybe not.

Vermin reassigned, and there is no Paquette or Johnson skating. Stamkos is slotting in on the 3rd line where Vermin was playing with erne and Gourde.

Stamkos is also playing on the 2nd PP Unit.

But, Vermin could also be recalled and put back into his 3rd line spot. It would be more convincing if stamkos was playing on the first line or 2nd line.

Like I said, might be getting ahead of myself, but (frank) I can't wait

Cooper said Stamkos is now in "day to day" category. Not playing Thursday. But after that ... #tblightning

Unless we are more assured of a playoff spot, I would sit him the remainder of the season. No sense in having him re-injured in meaningless games against desperate teams.

Right now our chances sit at 24.5%.

That could change of course...

I hear this argument alot. But either way they wont rush him, sports teams pay hundreds of thousands of dollars for medical care and gets the best. They can make the decision if Stammers knee is ready. If its healed then its healed, and I think i would be nice for Steven to play a couple of games this year even if we are out (or far off) the playoffs.
