You were banned for good reason. Maybe now you can put a little thought into your weak ass troll attempts. Or is that even possible for you? |

Hoping to see him soon...get into a game or two after they clinch. Wonder if he's 7th in the depth chart now and Wideman is done. |

Think he was brought in as an emergency recall. Means he can't play unless there's no regulars available. At least that's the way I understand it. |

I believe he's on regular recall after they didn't send him back on Stone's return. |

Oilers had a 10+ point lead this season...now its 3 and soon to be 1
Honestly no matter what happens the Flames have the best record in the division since about mid November...one of the best in the league
I am confident they would give anyone a series
On another note when was the last time the Flames had a playoff spot in the bag so early? I can't remember, and with how the season started its almost unimaginable |

Flames announced a few days after Stone returned that Anderssons recall had now been upgraded to a full recall. So he can play anytime.

I know it might be considered blasphemy but does anyone else wonder what our lines would be like if we split up the 3M line?
Bennett has shown that he can be a presence when he is given half decent linemates to work with. I just don't think that Brouwer is capable of bringing that out in him.
I'd like to see what Tkachuk could do with Bennett. That could give us 3 dangerous lines and help spread out our attack more.
Johnny Money Ferland
Frolik Backlund Brouwer
Tkachuk Bennett Versteeg
Bouma Stajan Chiasson
Might have to wait until next year though... |

The only reason I'd be okay with them breaking up the line was if they were giving up as Bennett as a centre and wanted to put him on that line and moved Tkachuk to the top line as I'm still not sold Ferland is a top line kind of guy.
But none of that makes sense with the way everyone is playing right now. |

Yeah it'd probably be better to wait until next year at this point. I just want to see what Bennett and Tkachuk would be like together (it'd either be brilliant or a complete disaster )
I do think I'd want that line broken up next year though. Bennett at centre is the big question mark. If we intend on re-signing Backlund then I think we'd be better off moving Bennett to wing and try out Janko at 3C.
I'm more of a fan of having pairs of players than set lines. If we can find a good top 6 RW to play with Money and Johnny then great, if not I'm fine with plugging in a guy like Ferland.
Maybe next year something like:
Johnny Money (Ferland/Acquisition)
Frolik Backlund Brouwer
Tkachuk Janko Bennett
Hathaway Stajan (AHL standout-Lomberg?)
Could just as easily keep the 3M line together and try Brouwer-Bennett-Janko...I'm just wondering if we can somehow salvage Brouwer. Maybe if he isn't relied upon to actually create the offense we will get better results?
That 3rd line has the potential to be a more offensively gifted version of Backlund's shut down line. |

My thoughts exactly ...since they added stone and Bart and moved chiasson off the top line they have like 2 losses in 20 with a full lineup ...let's worry about next years lineup ...next year |

It was dead in here, just trying to spark some conversation
I'm just thinking that come playoff time it might be better to spread out our attack. Pittsburgh had great success running with 3 pairs. Hell, Lance friggin Bouma scored 16 goals riding shotgun with Backlund so I think it's safe to say that whomever we put with Backlund and Frolik should do well.
Brouwers been a negative player most nights and Tkachuk has shown that he is a legit top 6 forward. Just wondering if a swap could bring the best out of 2 players (Bennett, Brouwer) that have been floundering so far this year.
Ah well..cross that bridge when we get there I suppose. |

Ultimately, that's where I think Tkachuk ends up; beside Bennett. Once Bennett proves to be a capable top 6 C we have a Johnny/Mony pair and a Chucky/Bennett pair. It not this year.
