You guys will come out of the West and challenge the Penguins for the cup! I'll turn my attention to the Dodgers losing to the Cubs in September. Best of luck to you guys!

Thanks Arh, being a Cub fan lets hope our two teams meet up again for a trip to the WS on the line. Dodgers are a class org too.

That was one we forget about and move on. Nothing wrong with getting our head kicked in every once in a while to keep everything in perspective. Don't know if anyone got hurt. Is Ras OK? Looked kind of bad trying to get off the ice. Otherwise, we just gave the nay-sayers a little more fodder. Big wow. Concentrate on your next game and take it out on them. Go Hawks!!!

I don't suppose there was a team fishing trip in Florida involved before this game was there?

"Team Schizo" ... aptly put. They literally stunk on ice.

Hearing Gophers free-agent Vinni Lettieri (19 goals, 37 points) currently choosing between #nyrangers & #blackhawks. Both after him heavily

Thanks for my sons U12 team for taking me to a tournament that forced me to miss whatever dumpster fire this game was.

I totally agree with you JJ that the Hawks came out hot and Reimer played well. The puck was bouncing and jumping all over the place which in my mind caused the team to lose their rhythm and alot of the momentum that they generated early on.I differ when it comes to the officials as people always like to point out that a team needs to play threw the tough calls but that can be very difficult in a somewhat parity league. Poor officiating is no excuse but let's face it,you can't get the genie back into the bottle.I guess that my real point is that it is easy to say a team should get past the incompetence but is it really that easy?Momentum is important and just because these idiots call an even up penalty doesn't square a thing........

Everything was fine until the horrendous call on Kruger which led to a 5 on 3, once the Panthers scored especially since the wiener gave Hartman 4 minute penalty I turned it off, officials with big egos have no place in officiating at any level, any level they just hurt the sport.

Not sure why, but sure seems that when it comes down to Hawks vs. Rags...

...College FA's choose losing in NY over cups in Chicago.

Who knows...perhaps it'll be different this time.

As soon as the Hawks went down 5 on 3, I hit fast forward, and didn't stop till it was over. The only bright spot was that Panarin didn't get a point.

JJ mentioned Schmaltz reverting to old habits, it's been a not so great couple of games for Hartman as well. He's been playing within himself all year, now the fights and penalties seemed to have ticked up a bit; I hope it isn't a new trend.

Helpful Tip for the Tampa game :

Kucherov is agoraphobic and hates open spaces. If you really want to throw him off his game, give him plenty of room. He thrives under tight coverage.

You can thank me later.

I've been reporting here for a while, the Hawks are interested in Minnesota captain Justin Kloos.

The way the Hawks have been playing of late...I'm sure most of your roster will have all the space they need.

Bettman wants so badly Minny to win the West (further advances his parity theme) that when they lose the league has to provide a game like last night's. Watch tomorrow, it will be just as ugly.
