I'm a Bruins fan and at a certain point... you get what you deserve.
They did not adress one of their problems. They need to play desesperation mode. We are not seeing that. 3 goals just after ours ? Come on.
Beleskey and Hays combine for..... 13 points. Get rid of that and give minutes to the Spooner, Vatrano. |
|
|
|
Maybe it's cause we have only one line that can create offense. Marchand looks like he is alone out there sometimes. It's that time of the year where points are hard to come by so they focus on the ONE LINE and then the Bruins can't score.
Maybe it was partially Claude but actually the freaking guys on the ice. Can we find a couple wings that can play with Krejci? Backes isn't the answer. Beleskey that's a joke. Riley Nash? Stafford? Hayes? Spooner? Vatrano?
This team comes down to poor FA signings, drafting and player development. It has been the same the past 3 years because the Bruins refuse to give up on the Big Bad Bruins mentality. Look around the rest of the NHL. Kane, McDavid, Crosby, Karlsson, speed kills in the NHL, and the Bruins are slow and lack skill. |

Tuukka needs to be keel hauled.
She's terrible.
Oh yeah, Thanks Ty. |

yeah... was at the game.. .
it was awful. Giving up goals after just scoring again and again. Pathetic.
soooo... they already fired the coach.. that didnt work. Gonna be a fun off season. |

you mean the cup they were already awarded by all the experts and their smug, horrendous, fanbase? You mean the cup they lost because they were blinded by their own arrogance and got ground down by a team who earned it? That cup? |

If they make it... a big IF... they will more then likely play the Caps. Probably going to lose in 3 games (that's how bad it will be).
Having said that, do you even want to make the playoffs? Or simply turn your focus to the offseason.
I think Neely has to go. Sweeney is on a very short leash. My untouchables, this offseason, would be:
- Marchand
- Bergeron
- Pasta
- Carlo
Everybody else, I would listen to offers on. I didn't include Rask on my untouchables, and i'm not doing that to place blame on Rask, as I still think he is an elite goalie and has been one of the main reasons they currently sit in a playoff spot. However, it may be time to see what some teams might offer, while Rask still has some good value on the trade market. |

I remember it being that cup. I think that's the one he was talking about.
I hate the Bruins. Loathe them. God it was satisfying seeing Vancouver lose though. |

what did they expect, they needed a top winger and solid d-man,
so they go out and signed another center. They got lucky with Carlo being ready, imagine how bad it'd be if he wasnt on the team? |

atleast you guys have players in the pipeline who are hopefully ready to come up soon.
I would be pumped over McAvoy. You also have your 3 1st rounders from 2015. Things aren't soo bad for you guys. |

at the beginning of the season I didnt think they'd make the playoff and this was a throwaway year. Basically same team as last couple years that didnt make the playoffs. Minus looch, add Backes... Chara is older and slower, Krejci (the highest paid player on the team) has always given a half assed effort during the season, so yeah, just waiting for the kids to be ready for prime time.
