SO tonight in the kings don't beat Calgary in regulation what happens, or in a week if Nashville doesn't beat Calgary? Interesting how your reading a computer print off based on that the Flames should lose ALL these games in regulation so they miss the playoffs....Has more to do with everyone else winning out than the flames losing out. |

Eklund: Crazy Saturday Night Sees 2 New Divsion Winners in West Projected - Eklund
New Projected Standings:
Buffalo to finish with one less win than they currently have.
Ek's PhD wife is predicting they not only lose out, but lose a coach's challenge and are docked a win for what I can only assume is somehow related to Evander Kane molesting an opposing player and hitting arena security in the process. |

Kings going 8-0-4 to finish out the season is also impressive. Calgary losing out a 9 point advantage in the standings is actually plausible at least...
I notice Ek no longer brags about his prediction rates as he is virtually flipping a coin with a larger sample size. |

I think your program still needs work. You show the Pens finishing 54-20-8. The problem is they already have 9 OTL. I know the NHL would kill for the Pens to get home ice advantage but not even Bettman would change an OTL to a win. |

Eklund: Crazy Saturday Night Sees 2 New Divsion Winners in West Projected - Eklund
Your projected standings change significantly on a nightly basis depending on results. Doesn't that tell you that your formula sucks? What's the point of projecting standings if you just change them every day?
Not to mention you show some teams with more or less wins/losses than what's possible or what they currently have. What exactly is your wife she phd in? And did she get it from an online university/college? |

I don't even understand how one can project someone to go 9-0-1 in their final 10 gp. |

The same way one can project "Ovechkin to the Predators (e3)" or "The Sedins as a package deal to the Islanders is looking more and more likely." |

Best case for the Rangers down the stretch, is to rest a few players not 100% healthy and to play 500 hockey to make sure we keep the WC1 spot. |

Send or Habs sure is a more desire able matchup than pens or CBJ...
That said, if the Habs the division, I hope its NYR in the first round! |

I think Edmonton wins 6 out of their last 11 games and finishes with 97 points. L.a. will win 7 of their next 12 to finish at 89 points. E 10 |

The Rangers have a terrible record against Montreal & were swept by them this year, the Rangers have a better record against their divisional rivals, sometimes you have to be careful for what you wish for! |

I know...
Posted this earlier though: "Would like to see NYR-Sens and Habs-Boston in the first round."
And if we end up playing the Habs in the first round, we could always have Kreider drive hard to the net |
