Why do we keep getting Brian Elliott side notes?

We get another draft pick if he plays well enough for Flames to re-sign him this summer. Keep going strong Ells!

Who wants a Blues/Flames playoff rematch?

Only played once, in the conference finals with the winning the cup. Would be great to see Elliot back in the STL in May, no?

They'd have to schedule a Monday night game, right?

Both 2015-16 Blues goalies have been much maligned earlier in the year. Both are turning it around. Good for them both.

I would be thrilled to see that matchup. Blues in back to back conference finals would be amazing. Add the goalie drama, Tkachuk and son would add some drama.

Although, I'm not sure I could handle losing that series, especially if Elliott went on to win the Cup. Talk about paaain.

I am just impressed by these Blues. This version of Allen is better than the ones that got me high on him. It seems to me this team is actually better without Shattenkirk. Both Petro's and Parayko's games have stepped up.

After badhing the fourth line I have been utterly impressed by them, even including Broadziak who is playing exceptional. I stopped crapping on Reaves this year because he gained speed and skill which I always felt he could and was disappointed when he didn't show it.

Barbashev looks really good and on those few shifts with Tarasenko last night I saw some chemistry.

There's not much I don't like about this team right now. I think they can be better at finishing but at the same time Smith was really good.

I really like MPS's game now. He is attacking the net and not floating the perimter. Now if Yakupov could do this a bit better and find a bit more confidence I would be happy.

Brian Elliot is combing his hair different now and I hear it's AMAZING.

Oh, and Jake Allen had another shut out last night.......

Anyway, back to Elliot....

Agreed, except I think Parayko has been pretty average to be honest. Part of that is because he has such a high ceiling and he's still very young for a D man. If he starts getting his shots through more and gets better at his escapability in the D zone, watch out. He's got all the tools and a lot of times he gets himself out of trouble with his skating but he doesn't always have to rely on that. He could learn a lot from Petro in that respect.

Speaking of former Blues goalies, Ben Bishop is having a good time in LA.

L.A. loses again. Bet Sutter gets canned after the season if they miss the playoffs.

To be sure, his size has bailed him out of bad reads. But that comes with time and well he can skate and has size and he uses it well.

Which would be funny because that roster was slow five years ago.
