You guys should have a good tilt on that. Good playoff alignment can follow that success.

Do the Oilers a favor so they stay in Alberta with the Flames. You can then make Ducks try to pick off Sharks.

Your playoff prize is the Wild or Hawks. No worries.

Hope I am wrong, but Blues certainly could fall hort in this one. But of an emotional levelling of after Monday's big win.

Still hope te overall compete is there, and then the team with the most push and best bounce wins.

Go Blues!

I just looked up, and to my surprise Steen (33) is older then both Perry and Getzlaf (31). Perryreally is having a down year. Getzlaf is still producing the assists like he always has.

Steen's production (and sometimes demeanor) has been off this year.....at least as far I can see from my section 300 seat!

Ugh. Brutal play by Jaybo there hanging Allen out to dry. Didn't put much on it and a good play by Getzlaf makes for an easy goal for Rakell.

Not a bad game. I really liked the pressure but the very end was terrible because too many tired players on the ice and no puck retrieval with the goalie pulled.

i do not like the way they play with the goalie pulled. i would not pull goalie with the team unless they had fifteen seconds or more of possession. or i would try a different set of players.

not so much.

but whenever you have a team crap the bed for while because of a sour coach you have to be weary of judging those stats.

Well, hopefully a better outcome tomorrow night. Heck tonight.

Cant blame Allen on either goal. We made 2 mistakes and they capitalized. We hit some posts and the bounces did not go our way tonight.

Decent game, thought we took it too them for the most part. Officiating was up and down and kind of just pure crazy as to what they would or would not call.

Yakupov needs to slow down a little just like Panger said. He is just too hyper. Find a way to cut it back just a bit he could consitently make a positive impact. Hard to do when you only get 1-2 games out of every 10.

Yeah. I hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but was that unintentionally intentional?

It's possible but they would have had to assume there would be another icing. I don't imagine you could get away with it too often and keep your job either.

I don't even know how time-keepers are able to do the job as well as they do, I couldn't pull it off, just like reffing, I'd get distracted by the game.

+1

I'm not sure if it's the strategy (dumping pucks in that they have no chance of retrieving at times), the personnel, or the execution but for the most part they have been terrible with the goalie pulled this season.

They played a good road game and lost because of a couple of mistakes, one by a veteran and one likely caused by the players on the ice not playing much together. If they play every road game like that from here on out, they'll win more than they lose and make the playoffs.

The officiating was very poor last night, very poor (both ways). It wasn't consistent at all.

In the Kings game, the refs were consistent in not calling most things. Last night, some ticky tack things were a penalty and then later some obvious things weren't. Regardless, you always need to play through it and win despite officiating.

The Blues played a decent game and lost. It happens. Still some positives in the game (Barbashev play, Allen with another good game, etc).
