Bob Duff: Jensen a steady presence You could argue that Nick Jensen is currently the best defenseman on the Detroit Red Wings.

Is it just me or does young Russo look a little slow. He definitely doesn't move as well as Jensen. It torments me to see how long the young guys are left in GR. Then on the other side of the coin, most of them just don't have what it takes, the talent just isn't there. I honestly think the organization holds on to people stuck in GR much too long. How long does it take a player before he is yay or nay material, 23 - 24 yrs old. IMO if a player isn't good enough for your team by then, he simply isn't good enough and won't be good enough. Example Kindl, he beat around like a flag in a hurricane far too long. Then Quincy part I and II what a waste of time he was. Ericsson before his injury, a big puck turnover, lumbering, overpaid disappointment yet again this season. Yet Idiot Blashill loves Big E because he is a Big Pylon. Gotta give the Big E some credit though, some of those at least six goals that went into his own net off him this season were real Beauties.

Did Stevie Y steal ALL the best scouts when he left, or was it Jim Hill when he left for Dallas to blame the Grand Theft on. Whatever happened to the Wings scouting staff, it's showing signs of decay.....just like the team itself....decayed.

Keep TANKIN' ER boys, because we Wings fans have only Groundhog Day to look forward to. Better known as the June Draft for the next 3- 5 years.

We also have the firing of Blashill & hopefully moving Holland along as well, to look to, hopefully in the VERY near future.
