Blues playing against Tim Peel in St. Louis tonight. He didn't go full screw job in the Winter Classic, so I wouldn't expect a win tonight unless the PK can go 100%. |

No way that goal should have counted.
Perry got hit, but purposely hooked Allen after hitting him. Keeping him from getting over on the shot.
That was pathetic, especially to overturn the no goal call on the ice.

Gives me hope that management is considering life without Lehtera. |

Wild now 2 and 6 against current playoff teams since February 1. Thinking they might be the match up to hope for in round 1. |

It's certainly not going to be an easy round no matter who we get. Chicago tends to play their best hockey in the playoffs, who knows what Minnesota will bring, but if both are playing their best hockey, I'd rather face the Hawks. |

I don't know man, I think the best thing that could happen is for the Blues to continue to surge and for the Wild to continue slipping down the stretch. We know all to well what happens when you back your way into the playoffs. |

For sure, given the choice I'd take the team on the slide into the playoffs every time. If I had to choose today, between SJS, CHI and MIN, I'd choose to play against the Wild.
That being said, I think this Wild team is the best of the 3 when they play their best hockey. |

Wild at their best this season are probably better than CHI or SJ at their best this season. But Blackhawks in their recent top playoff form is better than Wild at their best this season, IMO.
More importantly, Boudreau has no idea how to adjust his teams come playoffs. Refs start making fewer calls, teams start for-checking better, and his teams fall apart. Already happening with the Wild when they play decent teams. Things might be different this year, but I'd much sooner assume Wild/Boudreau will have their normal playoff dip, than assume Blackhawks won't have their normal playoff boost. |

I always go with depth and the Wild have it. The Hawks have a lot of big game players at key positions. Either way, the Blues have proven they can beat either team. The Wild's defense and goaltending are better though. Really with Chicago it is their offense plus goaltending stealing games. |

Really like the way the Blues are playing under Yeo.
Even during the losing streak, they were playing good games and losing close ones. They have fared well against good teams, and even played big without some key guys.
Keep it up boys! |
