Yeah it was going to be tough for you guys.....The Sharks were defiantly focused after the night before where we had a lethargic performance against the wild. It was a good game though! Good read Peter!
Sure they're playing well, and I'm going to come across sounding like a hater (I'm not), but I'm spent when it comes to the "moral victory" stuff.
This is the second year in a row the Jets have started to turn it on after they're out of it... "out of it" being debatable, but I just don't see a team that only wins two or three games in a row all year suddenly going on a streak and winning 13 of their next 15, or whatever it is. I wrote them off two weeks ago.
Sorry, no platitudes from me for a "good loss" anymore. Win, man.
A healthy Winnipeg Jets are a top 10 team in the NHL . I include Myers in the " healthy" part of that equation. Right now you are seeing the potential. While they likely will not make the playoffs I think the future looks bright so long as they are able to keep the team relatively intact and only lose Copp to expansion. For all you Matthew Perreault naysayers please note that he has 16 point in last 18 games. We cannot afford to lose him or Armia.
Out the door - Stuart, Thorborn , Copp , Matthais ( UFA ) , likely Hutch
In the door - Connor , Roslovic , Tucker Poolman, UFA Goalie, UFA D-man.
