I didn't think it was great, but definitely not worth shutting off. The only movie I think I've every shutoff was Elysium and that was more a case of being interrupted and not caring enough to go back to it.

Isn't John wick an action flick? I actually haven't seen it yet, but think I'll have to do so soon. It seems to me all the awards shows have a bias against any sort of action flick and they rarely get many awards, since there isn't enough drama for the artsy types handing out the awards.

Yup. And an excellent one to boot. Same goes for the sequel IMO. Ending was a bit squirrely but a solid action flick none the less.

Yeah, I'll have to check them out soon. It never ceases to amaze me that Keannu continues to produce decent movies despite the lack of any ability to show facial expressions.

Or meetings that run until the very end of the day, because you never want to be the guy who wants to leave the meeting when it inevitably runs over time.
