Hopefully he plays better for you than he did for us. Lots of potential when we drafted him, but never panned out.

This says we probably had zero intention of resigning him while we have so much depth at center. Hate to see him go, but that's not a bad return for a career fourth-liner, no matter how tall or well-liked he is.

Now, what does this mean for Filppula? Do we move out another center? Or Johnson? We are now down one center. That hole can easily be plugged. Do we lose another center and then plug that hole? Namestnikov and Point can player center.
