Do you really think that he could turn into that? Just havent seen him play at all. I have heard he has some skill but that is always relative.

hes got talent no doubt but is he going to work his but off to compete and stay in the NHL. Mantha is on the roster because he fixed this problem. Jurco tends to disappear for long periods of time and even when he gets limited minutes he didnt make any kind of noticeable impact. All this being said I dont know how he was scratched in favor of Mr. Zero Goals (Riley Sheahan)

Yeah. I don't understand how he wasn't given some time over Sheehan, or anyone else for that matter. I liked what he brought, but definitely wasn't given a shot. But also did little with his time. I'll take a 3rd rounder lol

I just hope Kenny keeps making moves and keeps realizing that moving out contracts and keeping AA, Larkin and Mantha is best for this franchise right now.

Shots against metrics are on par with Larsson and Klefbom (better than Sekera) all while producing more offense. Not leaps and bounds better but I think he would be your best D man at the moment. Either way that would be a pretty stacked top 4.

True enough and there's enough guys like like Nurse and Russel and what not that have that other dimension...I would think the Oilers at least have some interest, but not sure what the cost might be.

Oh he's a bum defensively. But I'm banking on the fact we may be able to blow Shattenkirk enough to come here and toss those 2 out there together, which would cover his laziness in our own zone.
