Adam Proteau: Panthers, Islanders proving why patience is a virtue The NHL is a results-oriented league, and the pressure to win is constant and compounding. But the in-season turnarounds of the New York Islanders and Florida Panthers are instructive lessons in the value of patience through tough times.

Not a bad read, but I'd call firing your coach mid-season a "major move". I guess the point is neither team panicked with major roster moves, but at least in Florida's case their turnaround was due as much to getting key players back from injury as it is to changing coaches.

Nothing unusual that Isles failed to make a Major Move.

Snowball has no Idea why or how to consummate a Major Move.

If asked about a major move, he'll just ramble and stumble over his words.

You'd have better luck asking an Eskimo to skinny dip in February.

Isles wont make PO's this yr. Snowball will come up with some lamebrain plan to extend the rebuild another several yrs.
