I know I know I'm still one of those that can't wrap my head around the Julien firing...

It was pretty clear the puck wasn't in the zone yet when the ducks player was a whole stride in, but the "he's human" card will be used here for the linesman.

Bruins are my 2nd favorite team - I would love to have The little ball of skill in orange - he is a terrific player - man were the Ducks lucky all night - they got at least 4 huge breaks - how 3 bruin glorious chances didn't go in is crazy - Rask scoring for Ducks - and Bernier w/ 3 just stupid saves - I'll take the win but by no means did Ducks outplay Bruins - going to staples tonight in my bruins # 12 the great Cashman

After seeing the highlights again, I noticed the linesman was out of position, so probably looked fine from where he was (in between the blue line and center ice). Just floating around

My fiancee is from the LA area and an actual Kings fan. I honestly didn't think they existed until we met. Right now however we are a house divided.

Pretty unlucky game all around. That offsides play was pretty bad. Cant leave there with zero points.

Also, Beleskey is definitely not back from his injury. He can't keep up and looked out of place.

Don't want to say tonight is a must win for the B's but it's a must win.

To the people who are still upset about Julien getting canned, they should have done it two weeks earlier. This team is in danger of missing the playoffs because they waited too long. Is there any doubt after the first 5 games that Julien was the problem? Spooner, Hayes, Krejci have all played better since CJ moved on.

Bruins games are actually enjoyable again.

Nash needs to be sent packing after that unforced turnover. Hayse is too slow for his linemates and Belesky was useless again.
Best part of the game was when Pasta went after Manson after he destroyed Marchy on the blueline. No harm done but he was looking to square up for his liney.

They kept Claude too long. Should have been let after they choked against the Sens last season. It's the way management handled it. I'm enjoying the new look B's but Neely and Sweeny still make me sour to the point of pissing lemonade.

Garbage officiating costs the B's another game. That no goal call on "goalie interference" was weak, and that offsides was terrible.

Don't know if I really fault Cassidy for challenging the interference call (since it was so weak), except for the fact that the officials probably aren't going to overturn their own call. But a coach using his challenge shouldn't automatically disqualify the ability to get the right call on the offsides play. Officials should be good enough to get together and get the call right themselves, or someone from Toronto should be able to notify them of the egregious offsides. That shouldn't have to come from a coach's challenge.

That being said, if Bergeron buries that open net he had, B's probably would have pulled this one out.

The boys had no "puck luck" last night... it's as simple as that. Colin Miller had a tough game, but let's hope he turns it around vs his former team tonight.

Speaking of C-Miller, here's an interesting article about how he made the rare jump from Ontario High-School hockey to the OHL (major junior) in Sault Ste. Marie. What this article doesn't explain is that he was every bit good enough to be playing Midget AAA at the time, but his family couldn't afford the registration and travel fees. After tearing up the year in High-School, the community rallied and raised enough money to cover the costs, because they saw the potential in his abilities. If they hadn't done that, who knows where C-Miller would be today.

Hey about finishing chances if Cogs could hit water falling out of a boat - how does he miss the open net on a spectacular play/ pass by Silf - Rask was in another zip code and he goes clang -

Should have won but you really can't take anything away from the Ducks.
They're a heavy, fast, hard hitting team with tons of skill and a really good D group.
However, Benny is right. Puck luck yet again foiled the chance to get 2 much needed pts.
Well that and the poopty calls.

- The Ducks should get rid of those horrible regular uniforms and switch to these orange ones on a full-time basis. The decision to get rid of the Duck goalie mask in the first place was dumb. Fix it.

That orange color is hideous, they need to be deposited in the nearest dumpster and set ablaze. Return to the original colors.

I'm hoping Jake Muzzin just does Muzzin things and puts a sweet pass right on Marchand's stick.
