I have to admit, while I welcome the change, I look to today's game with a healthy dose of skepticism. While some moves popular with the fans were made, (Galchenyuk to the 1st line, DD a healthy scratch) it's yet to be seen if Julien can right the ship, or at least start bailing water out from the bottom of the sinking ship.

Ah, but he's had a practice. The players seem upbeat about it, we'll see if that translates to better play on the ice. Either way, let's hope for a win, or at least a game where the comPete level is higher than it has been lately.

Therrien probably should have lost his job last season, so I wouln't call that a panic move. And yeah, it's a better move than trading Galchenyuk for a bag of pucks.

I'd love to see this too, but we'd either have to eat some of Pleks' salary, take a bad contract back, or throw something in to sweeten the pot.

therrien was never meant to last as long as he did
