You'll love it. Won't say anything more because no one should have that journey spoiled for them in even the slightest way.

That said I still think The Stand is King's best book.

I actually have the stand that I am planning to read next. I really liked the new Hodges stories and thought Mr Mercedes was incredible. Also enjoyed Rose Madder which not too many people did.

Girlfriend got me American Gods for Christmas. God that was a terrible book. No emotion, no energy, no story.

Enjoy the trip Bill.

Not sure if possible, and it's more of an off season piece but curious on your thoughts of what to do with G. Or what is going on.

It was good. Wasn't near on par with Cujo or Pet Semetary, but a solid novel none the less.

The Wheaties one. Way more niche. If you could get a yellow alternate Wheaties jersey that would be even cooler.

I'm leaning Brandon too, but I'm torn between the black and vintage yellow.

The Stand is amazing. Other early King works that are must reads are The Shining, The Dead Zone and The Talisman which is co-written by Peter Straub.

I dig pretty much all his stuff. Among his more recent works, I really enjoyed Under the Dome and Duma Key

Check out 11/22/63. I tend to like older King works myself but really liked this one.

Also Salem's Lot is another classic. Reading IT right now.

I've read em all, both the ones you named are great.

Edit: IT truly gave me the willies, I've always found clowns to be creepy

I made a dumb mistake of reading the last chapter of 11/22/63 before I got to the halfway point of the book. To know how it would end after seeing him become so happy with that girl. I couldn't bring myself to keep reading.

Actually I stopped reading after that chicks husband got her.

I know I am asking a lot but I want to see the Flyers score more goals than the Oilers

Yeah, it's not a happy story. Not as depressing as Pet Sematary though, that is one dark book

Damn that's a shame, because I think the ending is one of King's best. The last line is great.

Yup, creepy, in a strangely negative way

Also,
Just wait til they retire Vandevelde's number, your jersey will be worth a fortune

Just read that article posted in previous thread about Hagg. Really great how he's picked up his play and sounds like he putting it all together. I remember earlier in his development with us his work ethic or passion was questioned (can't remember specifically)but that doesn't seem to be the case at all (anymore) based on his quotes and what Gordon has said about him. Hopefully he can be rewarded a call up before the season ends.

No question in my mind Hex will move at least Streit

However Streit does have an NTC which could be an issue

I also have a strong feeling Neuvirth gets moved...especially if he keeps this level of play up, and the way he played last year in the playoffs not to mention his friendly cap number

If Streit wants to stay, then trade MDZ and let Streit join Schultz in the popcorn lounge. Hagg needs to come up and get a chance
