Thanks for the recap Bill, I missed the game today. Glad to see them pick up 2 points, but only getting 1 goal in regulation is still concerning. They need to find some way to start generating more offense.

He didn't look good at all.

A lot of Norris talk surrounding him. In the play I saw out of him today, he made AMac look Norris caliber...

Great win but G must start to put something on the scoreboard and clean up his bad turnovers.

When you click edit on the blog, it sometimes randomly changes the image (usually to the white jersey icon). It's been going on for about six months. Figured I'd just get all the changes made and then change the jersey icon to the post-game/ non-game day one. It's now the black jersey now that postgame quotes are added.

The defensive side of the puck has never been his strong suit. But he has the puck so much -- and knows what to do with -- that, on a deep two-way team like the Sharks, he's extremely effective.

One of the broadcasters told me that he got a kick out of my game preview description of Burns as a "hipster roving defenseman." But, well, that's him take it or leave it. He's having his second straight outstanding season overall.

As a PHWA member, I vote in the NHL awards. I think there's a good chance that Burns wins the Norris this year. However, I tend to vote for whomever I believe was the league's best two-way defenseman that year more than the guy who puts up the gaudiest numbers.

To me, Suter is the hands down best overall Defenseman. He should havbe won it the year PK did. It should just be renamed to best offensive defenseman award

I think Weber has been fantastic this season.

I have seen about 12 Habs games this year, i know it is a small sample size, but he just looks like the best player on the ice, besides Price.

I would be curious to know who your top 3 are at this point in the season.

Good call. I have seen a few Wild games and he is a beast.

That Spurgeon kid, he is small, but fun to watch. Maybe Ghost could watch some of his tape to pick up a few pointers.

Had to laugh today during the game I yelled "hit Sasquatch" when Burns had the puck.

Someone else replied " which one?"

I asked for that.

Overall a good game

Why did they review the winner?

Gotta feeling he gets called up next. I think hexy wants sanheim and Morin to be a the top pairing for a playoff run for the Phantoms. Might even add Freidman at the end of the year if Haag gets elevated
