I always hate forwards on the point unless they have an elite shot. And even when it was Kovy I still wasn't fond of it.

Kinkiad , Moore and Merrill propbly exsposed in the exspansion draft. Can we get something for one of them also?? Moore concussion #2 probably not . Kinkaid unproven and Merrill erratic bit has value. Also DSP will be exposed.

Kinkaid has certainly proven himself as a more than capable backup.

As far as trading Paranteau, you get the best value for players you don't want to trade, but should.

Amen! You don't need to blast a million miles an hour to be effective. (Although in Gelinas case it did help). You need to be able to get the puck to the net from out high, keep it in, and be able to stop shorthand breaks.

With forwards on the ice at the point, a 2-2 is advantage short-handed team.
