Bill,

What is the fix for this other then writing off this season...

When it comes to producing points G, Coots, Jake, Schenn , Raffl are black holes currently.

Regardless of goalie, you cant with your top 6 not getting it done as a whole.

Write it off...get rid of the dead weight we can at the deadline and continue the rebuild everybody forgets we're in the middle of. Is Courturier good? I can't remember anymore...

Hey...to you other NHL teams, if you've strung together a bunch of consecutive losses, fear not...the Flyers are the cure for your woes if you're lucky enough to have them on your upcoming schedule!

God, this team blows. Hey G...you guys keeping it simple, trying to get better the next game, blah blah blah, right? Oh wait, that was your answer to your last interview. My Bad.

It appears that they are playing individualistic hockey. They look like they don't know what to expect from their line mates. How about a little continuity so you can develop a level of anticipation because it sure doesn't look you have it!

Do not regret missing these games in any way.

That's just (frank)ing sad. Neanderthal hockey.

Bill, can you honestly tell us how you think Hakstol believes Streit is deserving of any ice time on this team? He has been outright brutal, tonight I thought he looked really bad, fighting the puck turnovers at both blue lines , zero confidence.

Thank god this team has Giroux signed for the next 5 years! Remember it's all the small things he does besides score goals lol

I'd take any pick for him at this point. He's that burger that fell between the grates

7th in the league in shots I believe.

They don't have the skill/size to get to the dangerous areas for A quality chances regularly

these are the dark times.

Right now, it feels like the The Season Which Shall Not Be Named all over again.

The team seems to have no confidence, goaltending is subpar, and they are making every goalie look like Jacques Plante. Sure, they are playing decent defense, but I think all the defensive effort, which they need to compete, is sapping any offensive output.

They are just not good enough to play this kind of defense all the time without expending a disproportionate amount of game energy to do so. And having a goalie let in soft goals just compounds the problem.

Even if this team somehow makes the playoffs (PLAYOFFS?!?!) they will be drained to the point of non competitiveness.

I don't think it's quite they don't have the skill to get to the dangerous areas, because they have developed some pretty good scoring chances. I think it's more the ability to finish is lacking on this team.

In other words, I think they into a scoring situation at a reasonable clip, but for one reason or another the puck doesn't end up in the net.

Team has plenty of size. We have zero skill. 90% of the roster handles the puck like a grenade. We cant clear our zone or maintain meaningful posession in the offensive zone. We're near incapable of producing any truly dangerous scoring chances and are averaging well under 2 goals a game for 2017 so far (17 games, aka atrocious).

Call up some fresh legs. This. Isnt. Working.

I really can't think of a Flyers team that was this pathetic to watch.
