I'm not knocking Duchene, I think he's a great player, which is why i'd love to have him on the Sens. But yes he is a 26 year old with potential but he's reached 30 goals once.

Look at the Bobby Ryan trade. he got two players and a pick and previously had four 30+ goal seasons.

So why would a guy who has had one 30 goal season, get more than a guy who had four 30+ goal seasons?
Yes I know Ryan is a winger and Duchene is a Center but i'm going based on stats

If you really have to ask that question then you really have no idea how to address players outside of the Sens organization.

example....lets check in on Ceci and Lazar tonight...Cecil is -2 with 1 give away and 3 attempted block shots and Lazar is a healthy scratch. Yup both of those should be a starting point for Duchene

I know that annoys me so much, its all Eastern Team fan bases who keep on calling him Steve Duchesne with that spelling.

Plus I've been impressed by some of the stretch passes Zadorov was executing perfectly coming out of the defensive zone! He's really starting to take shape quite nicely!!
