Apparently Allen is net. Thank you because honestly the back to back start thing almost never works out.

Glad they pulled out the win on the road.

They need to do that more often, even if they get outplayed.

Let's do it again tonight!

THEY HAVE A MAJORITY OF THEIR GAMES LEFT ON THE ROAD SO THEY DEFINITELY NEED TO START WINNING 3 OUT OF EVERY 4 OR SOMETHING OF THE LIKE

There are a number of players on this team that the Blues would be better without and I think some of those players would surprise a lot of people.

To me Megan, Aostino and Barbashev have earned ice time and a number of regulars have not. Although Tarasenko can make amazing shots goaltenders seem unable to read too much of his game is subpar. He used to be a better all around player. Steen makes a lot of bad puck decisions now a days. Lehtera, well, I mean he could get a job as a butcher as much he chops and whacks.

If Yakupov could score...same with Jaskin and MPS the Blues would a lot better, because too many veterans are worthless this year for the most part.

He's had a real strong game, would be nice if he could play like this continuously

Maybe now they have coaches that don't just mess with young players' confidence and bench them for the smallest mistake while playing vets who make similar mistakes?

A lot of players are flying now that seemed to have been dogging it.

That was a great game to see. Nice for Jake to get a shutout and make some good saves. But hinestly he was lucky as he got caught out of position a few times. But, hey, not along ago they would play good then play bad for a bit give up a strange goal and then come back to hit a post and give up another soft or flukey goal and quit for a portion of the game.

I hope this works out because it is nice to see and great to see more speed from this team. If MPS plays this good it makes me wonder what seeing him and Yakupov on a line would look like. Speed kills in this league.

He can't. This is what he always does. Comes in, plays a strong game, looks good, then disappears.

I only saw the highlights but i thought the bolded as well. Unlike the calm Hutton showed the night before, Allen showed a lot more movement, sometimes taking himself out of position. When he was playing his best earlier this year, he was more efficient and exact with his movement. Nice crisp, precise movement.

Have you noticed any improvements at all since Brodeur took over? It seems to me like Allen is crouching down a little more in his stance.

I like the play of the young kids. When Brodziak comes back I'd keep Agastino and Barbashev in the lineup over Jaskin and Lehtera. Time to give another Russian a shot. I'm ready to consider Jaskin and Yakupov busts at this point.

Because of work, I have seen very little of Allen's play since Brodeur took over. Most of it being the Pens game where I didn't like his positioning on the Letang breakaway (too low and forward, something I do when I am trying to do too much, trying to turn my game around, etc) but thought overall he was better than he had been in prior games.

They looked pretty good. I would be happy with the line if they produce.

I am not a big fan of Steen with Tarasenko, but I hope they do well together. I remember the three of them looked really good together when we first signed Statsny in camp/preseason. I was really excited about the combo. Then Statsny got hurt, and they didn't ever really get a good long shot together to show chemistry.

I hope Yeo keeps guys together

For anyone how has Barbashev looked other than his goal? Does he belong in the NHL or does he need more AHL?

I haven't been wowed, but he also hasn't looked out of place to me.

I hope he sticks around for a lease a while to see if he can continue to play at this level.
