Honestly, who gives a (frank) about an arbitrary list of the best 100 players that doesn't even include non-NHL players and that limits how many players can make it from given periods? |

Definitely deserved to be in the Top 100. IMHO, he and Hawerchuk were the two most egregious missing players on that list.
Love Malkin's humour in his response though. Classy player and (somehow) underrated. |

I actually care more about RW's mild obsession with it more than the list itself. It's a stupid, arbitrary list with restrictions. Who cares if he made it. |

To summarize ending of last blog comments. Jaydogg got slammed for picking a sample set to slam murray that coincidentally picked the start date as the 8-7 capital games. Since then Murray is at a .937 save percentage. |

Pronger had no business whatsoever being on that list, quite frankly I don't think Keith should've been on it either (At this point in time, maybe when he is all said and done)
I would argue Hawerchuck, Roenick, and Tkachuk not being on that list were eye popping. But outside of Pronger and Duncan Keith. I don't see who you could "EASILY" remove form the list to add all three. You cant ever forget the old timers, so don't go throwing them out because you hadn't seen them play. |

I did not see the old timers. Malkin to me is a generational talent and a joy to watch and listen to. His interviews are refreshingly honest. It's more than cliches and I really appreciate that for sure. |

Pronger could easily be on a list of dirtiest players but certainly not greatest. In the modern NHL he would sit alongside the likes of Matt Cooke and Raffi Torres due to the number of players he elbowed in the head. Because he played a little earlier he is instead regarded as great for some reason. Not by me.
I saw all the guys you mentioned play. While I would agree with Hawerchuck and Roenick I don't with Tkachuk. He was good but not great. He played in the west for the most part so I did not see him a whole lot but don't remember him being that special. The thing I remember the most about him was when he vandalized his hotel room after the US team lost in the 98 Nagano Olympics. |

I'm confused, he is calling people snowflakes for blocking people on Twitter, but he blocks anyone who has a differing opinion than him. Holy cow, talk about being a hypocrite. |

He's taking his own advise and being a snowflake making himself a safe space. Not hard to see from his writing that his opinion is the only one that matters. So this shouldn't be a surprise. |
