Getting Duchene would obviously be awesome but I'm not kidding myself...I doubt Habs have the assets to pull it off, and if they did, it would put a glaring hole on an already thin prospect pool.

I'd like them to go all in, if it don't work, blow it up.

Trade every asset they have for prospects and picks, Price included.

I would think so too, I don't think MB will do it... Kinda hoping he doesn't

... Duchene is without a doubt exactly what the Habs need but you can't trade an 18 year old D you just drafted 9th!

When will he be ready to not only play at the NHL level, but have an impact? Might be too late when the core will just be too old.

If he's going to step in and make a difference over the next year or two I'd agree, but if he isn't than holding onto him when your window is now might be problematic.

Also, you never know. He might never become something.

I would rather remain competitive for a long time, there will be life after Price...

Duchene does not guarantee a cup or even a trip to the 2nd round, not this year or any year and as great as he would look in that top 6, you must draw the line somewhere and I believe that line is somewhere in between Sergachev and Juulsen
