On Saturday against the Los Angeles Kings, the Flyers generated just 17 shots of their own but Michal Neuvirth stole a point in a 0-0 regulation tie before ex-Flyer Jeff Carter won the game in OT for the Kings.

The Flyers are likely to use the same lineup as they did in the game against Montreal. If so, both Shayne Gostisbehere and Travis Konency will be healthy scratches for the third straight game

I am going on the tour to cover it for the Alumni and will be on the bench with trainer/equipment manager Dave Culp during the games.

No one will lay out Putin (if he plays) but they also aren't going to back off and give him space. Hockeywise, the biggest name among the Russians playing against the Alumni will be Alexei Yashin.

He scores 8 goals a game because poke checking him or making a save on him can land you in Siberia. With the Flyers' team, it won't be the same. I mean, for an alumni game, I'm sure he's an adequate skater, but not the hockey superstar that he thinks he is.

Back in the Keys, all is good. Well at least for me, not so sure about the Flyers. Hopefully they can win in regulation, having to sit through another episode of "let's send the crap out for OT" is not on my agenda

The Islanders are just about done paying him, right? lol

(I know they finally stopped just a couple years ago.)

I'm going to go ahead and say it: 3v3 sucks. 4v4 is much better.

Didn't this city recently have a "culture beats skill" coach? How'd that turn out?

That doesn't change the fact that it's become an important part of hockey.

I'm here to help.

Much like you not liking 3v3, I don't like the majority of lineup decisions make by Hakstol over the better part of this season. We're free to complain about them or state our case, but it doesn't change a damn thing.
