Fist.
Kessel has been underrated most of his career.
Enjoyable blog. Your comments on Trump so far are warranted. The subject of your last comment is something the U.S. as a whole has been stupid about this for a long time. The rest of the world recognizes it. Obama (how much do we miss him ) did nothing to stop that idiocy either.

I don't think anyone expected that the President would go on Twitter and refer to a federal judge as "a so called judge" or that he'd take time out from a solemn even to mock Arnold Schwarzenegger or that he'd get into a fight with the PM of Austrailia or that he'd.........well I could go on all day.
I expected the policies of an uneducated demagogue to be extremely stupid, but I expected he'd act like a grown up at least. |

Olympics>World Cup. Fact. - tomburton99
best solution
move hockey to summer Olympics, just like basketball
it literally solves every problem and eliminates need for the silly world cup |

I'd take Crosby with 1 skate over Kessel, love his shot just not sure he's a superstar unless you have another word for the Crosby's/Gretzky/Lemieux etc? |

Trading nylander may also be as ridiculous as any media/fans thinking jvr or a combination of Other young players and picks are going to get you a top 3 D. Pick your poison. Leafs will probably overpay for a guy like alzner in UFA then trade nylander. |

Plus to the protesting that caused rioting and looting? The protesting that caused American flag burning at most Republican conventions. I belong to neither party, but I will never believe in the anti American democratic party. |

Kessell has always been under rated and over criticized in TO.
Can we please keep Trump out of the hockey blog? He has caused enough problems in every other avenue?
Thanks |

Stick to hockey. Stay out of politics. Trump hasnt been worse than imagined. I dont know who tells people what to believe, nor do I understand why people believe it. What has Trump done to hurt YOU? The answer is nothing. He is already bringing jobs back to the US, started the process to get rid of that awful Obama-care program, and took steps to increase the safety of the US in regards to terrorism. O, and the stock market is way up too. How is that BAD?????
stick to hockey where at least you know something about the subject. (O wait maybe I spoke too soon there) |

Generational players maybe? Kessel is in the upper echelon, depends on how you define superstar. I'd say he's in the same league as a Toews, Kane, Benn, Tavares. |

I say "plus" too. It's the dopey left that thinks the constant protesting is doing anything positive. All it's doing is driving more and more people away from the Democratic party. The GOP finally has someone in the White House that's willing to fight back, and the left is going apoplectic.
That's the basic difference between the left and right. The left wins an election (see Obama), and the right accepts the loss. The right wins an election, and the left riots. Most Americans see the behavior differences.
Let the protests continue. Please. Most Americans are sick of it, but the left is too self absorbed to see it.
And it's only been 16 days. |

I'm going to school for ecosystem management/ natural resource science. His federal job freeze took away about half of the jobs I could get, you know, the jobs that make sure you have safe drinking water, take care of precious ecosystems, etc. He is trying to roll back environmental regulations and dismantle the EPA. The jobs he creates will all be harmful to the environment, and for every job he creates, a job that protects the environment will be taken away. His administration is silencing scientists, and take it from a future biologist, you need a functioning earth to exist. It's not some "stupid hippy s%$!." Just ask China who is spending BILLIONS of dollars just trying to grow trees where clear-cutting has caused formation of deserts. |

The "left" didn't riot when George Bush won, because he wasn't openly bigoted, didn't fill his cabinet with people that are wholly unsuitable, incapable, science denying, with openly racist views. |
