I don't know I am looking at the kool aid but I am not drinking it. Pavelic is a stop gap and nothing more. I am happy that he has given us some solid games but his total body of work shows us he is a .500 goalie with poor overall numbers. I do hope he stays up with the big club when Helly takes back the net.

Lammi and elhers are real beauts, Jet fans have to be excited, maybe someday the very best wingers in the league! Very close already ,and trouba for bishop or the flower from Pittsburgh, what says you?....p.s.not straight up some moving parts, but as main pieces

The Jets can't keep three goalies on the main squad for much longer or a trade is coming very soon. It sounds like many of the current guys with injuries are close to returning. Frenchie , Stafford, Dano, and Chariot all back inside two weeks. Myers is the only exception. I think Comrie is likely at least as good as Hutch so one would expect that Hutch might be the one getting sent down. However he is the valuable asset in the expansion draft so teams would pick him up for that reason alone and we would be left with no goalie to expose.

Jets are allowed 23 on current roster.

If they send Pavs down he might be taken as a backup by another team considering with only 25 games or less left on his salary. Tanev will be sent down for sure. Dano will as well. That leaves one extra guy. Chariot who I believe must clear waivers.

Therefore I would surmise that the Jets will be trading any two of the following players very soon unless they get further injuries. Stafford, Stuart, Postma, Chariot,Thornburn, Hutch, or Pavs.

I guess there is also the possibility that they could trade either Lowry or Armia since we risk losing one of them anyways at the expansion draft. At least right now we could get a nice return for them in an equal player who would be draft exempt from a team that has the room to protect whoever they acquire.

Unless the trade is for draft picks , it must be a trade where we get someone back who is waiver exempt.

Let the countdown begin.....

Nice win over the Blues !

What the f was Buff doing out there ?

1st goal - he looks terrified that the puck might hit him - block a shot ! You are a d-man.

Incredibly dumb attempted pinch with 9 seconds left in the 1st. Led to a 2 on 1 with Tarasenko getting a good scoring chance.

2nd goal - he goes all the way out to the blueline, to check Tarasenko, misses him with a hip check, and Tarasenko walks in and scores.

3rd goal - he looks confused.

What was he doing on the 2ng goal? He's the right side defense man and he's on the left side of the ice at the blue line. I'm confused as well. I guess he's our rover defenseman

No way are they trading Trouba for anything but another defenseman.

Buff appears to be the only D-man who is playing a "man to man" defence,

I think that we expose Perreault to Vegas and take our chances.....lots of left wingers in our system to replace him.
