The decision to call up Stollery is so similar to Warsofsky last season. You know this guy is not in the longterm plans so why even bring him up let alone let him QB a PP unit? I'd rather see Helgeson, Mozik, Jacobs or Scarlett.

I think, based on how Shero is calling up certain AHLers (Stollery, Coleman, etc) is based on their +/- in Albany. That's the only reasoning that makes sense. But Stollery did have a couple good breakups in the first period.

By no means am I saying he's the saving grace or worth staying up in the NHL, but I'm just stating that I noticed the callups are most likely based on +/-.

I would like to know why Jacobs is down in the ECHL. I thought he was a top D prospect? And why we haven't given Scarlett a look, yet?

Totally agree with your points here. My only thought was that maybe they'll wait until they're completely out of the playoff race and then they'll let the younger guys play. However, if last year was an indicator of their intent, then we shouldn't hold our breath. I'm talking about letting them play the last few weeks of the season, not just a game.

Shero should be on the phone offering PA up for a first round pick in 2017 or a 2nd in 2017 and 2018. He fits in within their cap. I really would find out what it would take to extract Fabbri from their roster. If they miss the playoffs to the Canucks they will all end up on the street and they know it. Come on Ray get on the phone and tell Armstrong you understand what he is going through and you're calling with a win win for us both. 😉

You're probably right on PA but there is no reason not to make that call. You look at the team in crisis either those desperately trying to make the playoffs like the Blues or those up against the cap like the Kings and the call should be made. I have no interest in becoming a fringe team or the NFL equivalent 8-8. The team has no identity. Make the necessary changes so when someone comes into your building they know they better keep their heads up when they are in front of the net or in the corners. That's not gonna happen with Merrill or Quincey. When Myles Wood fought Simmonds it was a glimpse of an identity.

He has. The Blues have the worst save percentage in league despite being in top 10 of shots against. He's killing my fantasy team.
